What is The Trade Calc?
A free tool that puts a number on every fantasy football player and draft pick so you can instantly tell whether a trade is fair. Add players and picks to each side and you get each side’s total value, a fairness verdict, and a consolidation adjustment for packages. It covers dynasty and redraft leagues across Superflex, 1QB, 2QB, PPR, Half-PPR, Standard and TE-premium formats.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Yes, completely free — the calculator, rankings, trade database and league tools. The Trade Calc has no site accounts. Public Sleeper, Fantrax and ESPN leagues need no platform sign-in. Yahoo league connections are awaiting Yahoo approval.
Where do dynasty values come from?
Real trades. Every day the site crawls thousands of public dynasty leagues and pulls in completed trades, and those trades are solved together into one consistent value for every player and pick. Community voting then adjusts the market number, with the crowd’s influence capped at 50%.
How does the community voting work?
Managers rank three players from most to least valuable. Those rankings inform an Elo rating that adjusts the trade-based value. The crowd’s influence grows as votes accumulate and is capped at half; redraft values do not use voting.
How are redraft values different from dynasty?
Redraft runs on a separate engine: a consensus of real Average Draft Position from Sleeper, ESPN and Yahoo before the season, then rest-of-season projections (a consensus of Sleeper, ESPN and Yahoo) after Week 1 is complete, refreshed weekly. Dynasty measures long-term trade value; redraft measures value for the current season.
Do you support Superflex, 2QB and TE-premium?
Yes. Switch between Superflex, 1QB and 2QB, choose PPR, Half-PPR or Standard scoring, set your team count, and toggle TE premium. Every value re-adjusts to your exact league settings.
Can I see all my fantasy leagues in one place?
Yes. Live Matchups puts every league you connect — Sleeper, ESPN and Fantrax, dynasty or redraft — on one live scoreboard with your team auto-selected, points side by side, bench underneath, and NFL live scores below. Free, no account.
Can I connect my fantasy league?
Yes. Dynasty roster tools support Sleeper, Fantrax and MyFantasyLeague; redraft supports Sleeper, ESPN and MyFantasyLeague. Private ESPN leagues connect with your own ESPN cookies (espn_s2 and SWID), or the commissioner can make the league viewable to the public. Fleaflicker connections import trades, not league rosters. Yahoo league connections are awaiting approval; Yahoo ADP remains available.
Can I use my own rankings?
Yes. Switch the source to My Rankings and drag players into your own order on the list or the draft board. It saves automatically to your browser and pairs with Live Draft so you draft off your own board.
