How The Trade Calc Works

Dynasty values start with real trade data. Every day the site crawls thousands of real dynasty leagues and pulls in completed trades. Each trade is treated like an equation, since both sides were close enough that a manager hit accept, and all of those equations get solved together into one consistent value for every player and pick. Recent trades count more, duplicates get thrown out, and every trade is converted from its league settings onto one common baseline of 12 team Superflex PPR before it touches the math.

The community then adjusts those values through head to head voting. Votes feed an Elo rating that nudges a player up or down from his market value, with the crowd influence capped at half and weighted by how many real votes a player has. The result lands on a 0 to 9,999 scale and is the same number everywhere on the site.

Redraft works on a separate engine: a consensus of real Average Draft Position from Sleeper, ESPN and Yahoo before the season, then rest-of-season projections (a consensus of Sleeper, ESPN and Yahoo) after Week 1 is complete, refreshed weekly, powering the redraft calculator, ADP rankings, draft board, mock draft room and depth charts. Every value in both modes updates live for your league settings, including Superflex, scoring, team count and TE premium.
