Dynasty values are built in two layers. First, a solver ingests thousands of real dynasty trades crawled from public dynasty leagues and works out the value of every player and pick that best explains those trades. Every trade is normalized from its league’s actual settings — Superflex or 1QB, team count, scoring, and TE premium — onto one common baseline before it touches the numbers, so a deal from a 10-team TE-premium league and a deal from a 12-team standard league are compared fairly. This is the baseline — your value with no votes at all, a direct read of the trade market.
Second, community Elo voting adjusts that baseline. Each time someone ranks a matchup of players from most to least valuable, those results update the players’ Elo ratings. The crowd’s influence on the final number grows as real votes accumulate, capped at 50%, so early values track trades and mature values become a genuine hybrid of market and consensus.
Redraft values are calculated differently, from a consensus of Sleeper, ESPN and Yahoo average draft position (ADP). Both modes then re-adjust to your league: Superflex, 1QB or 2QB; PPR, Half-PPR or Standard; team count; and TE premium. A consolidation adjustment accounts for the premium of getting the best player in a multi-player package.
